
Flow Yoga
Students can expect to feel more mindful and relaxed, build strength, mobility and flexibility, develop self awareness and compassion, and learn practices to use in their daily lives.
Who is this Course For?
This course is suitable for everyone.
Will I need any equipment or materials?
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Yoga is generally practiced barefoot but non-slip socks are an alternative.
Practical information
- Students should be able to kneel and get up and down from the floor easily.
- Yoga mats, blocks, bolsters, and blankets will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer.
- Changing room facilities are available.
- Please contact your GP if you have any health conditions which may impact on your participation in the course. In addition, please tell your tutor about any conditions or concerns at the start of the course.
- If you claim a concessionary rate you may be asked for proof of eligibility (e.g. student card, or proof of age). Find out more about our concessionary rates.

You will learn
Students will learn asanas (yoga positions), meditation, mindfulness, pranayama (breathing practices), and yoga nidra (deep relaxation)
Meet the Tutor

Madlyn Ray-Jones
Madlyn is an experienced yoga teacher who loves to share the healing and transformative power of yoga. She is trained in Hatha and Perinatal Yoga and STOTT Pilates, and has experience of teaching people of all ages and abilities. Her gentle somatic style of teaching encourages students to adapt the practice as needed, to connect with their breath, move mindfully, and relax deeply. Expect a nurturing, compassionate and supportive environment to explore the practice at your own pace.

Sara Thomas
Cover teacher for 27th October: Sara (she/her) trained as a teacher to share her passion and help others to move, breathe, connect, and learn in a way that feels right for them. She loves creating welcoming and accessible classes to ensure students feel empowered to make the practise their own and take the learnings off the mat.
Sara's classes are a space where everybody is welcome to show up exactly as they are. Whether you're looking to add more fire to your day, or take it easy; you will be encouraged to honour your body and make the practise your own.

Before the course begins, you can choose to purchase either a full course ticket or a drop-in for the first class. Drop-in tickets for the remainder of the course will only become available after the first class and are subject to availability.
Tickets are bookable online until two hours before the event. Unless the event is sold out, tickets will then be available on the door. Please call the box office on 020 7392 9200 for more information.
