Meditation (stress management techniques)
You will explore a range of techniques, supported by mindful movement and practical tools for nervous system regulation. Each session is designed to help you reduce stress, improve focus, and develop a sustainable meditation practice to support everyday life.
This course offers a supportive and structured journey to:
· Learn four evidence-based mindfulness and meditation practices (body scan, counting the breath, feeling the breath, practice of presence), plus be guided to a practice of Yoga Nidra in our last session.
· Build confidence in meditation through practice, reflection, and feedback
· Develop awareness of body, breath, and mind in daily life
· Explore mindful movement and nervous system regulation tools
· Create a foundation for ongoing personal practice and wellbeing
· Benefit from research-recognised outcomes of mindfulness, such as improved focus and concentration, reduced anxiety, and greater emotional resilience
