Left Unity is the new party of the left in Britain – established to offer an alternative to the main parties' agenda of blaming the poorest for society's problems and destroying the welfare state. The party was founded in November 2013 and now has around 2,000 members.

Proudly independent since 1895, Bishopsgate Institute is a cultural venue in the City of London. Our beautiful Victorian building is a place for people to connect over a shared love of learning.
