Mindful Pilates
This course combines the mental health benefit of mindfulness and relaxation with the physical benefits of Pilates. Practice noticing your thoughts and developing a kind and encouraging inner voice. Learn Pilates movements to strengthen and mobilise the body, with a focus on breathing and core engagement. Each class will end with a short relaxation to leave you feeling refreshed and energised.
Who is the course for?
No prior knowledge or experience of Pilates is needed. Beginners are very welcome. You would benefit from being able to come down to the floor but you are welcome to modify all movements to suit you.
Will I need any equipment or materials?
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. Mats and equipment are provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Pilates can be practiced with bare feet or grippy socks.
