It helps release tension, improves posture and gradually retrains the body to become stronger, more supple and healthy.

These workshops give the opportunity for those with substantial previous experience to have time to explore and develop their practice in a more detailed and focussed session. You should be steady in standing poses and familiar with inversions.

Who is this course for?

Our Iyengar Yoga Workshops are suitable for students who already have substantial experience, for example students who regularly attend our Level 2 Iyengar courses.

Will I need any equipment or materials?

Please wear clothing which allows you to move freely and work in bare feet.

Practical information

• Students should be able to kneel and get up and down from the floor easily.
• To make the classes more accessible to all abilities, equipment such as blocks and belts will be used.
• Yoga mats will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer.
• Changing room facilities are available.
