Iyengar Yoga Workshop
This course will take place in person.
It helps release tension, improves posture and gradually retrains the body to become stronger, more supple and healthy.
These workshops give the opportunity for those with substantial previous experience to have time to explore and develop their practice in a more detailed and focussed session. You should be steady in standing poses and familiar with inversions.
Who is this course for?
Our Iyengar Yoga Workshops are suitable for students who already have substantial experience, for example students who regularly attend our Level 2 Iyengar courses.
Will I need any equipment or materials?
Please wear clothing which allows you to move freely and work in bare feet. This term, all students will be required to bring their own yoga mats. We will not be providing mats.
Practical information
- Students should be able to kneel and get up and down from the floor easily.
- To make the classes more accessible to all abilities, equipment such as blocks and belts will be used.
- Yoga mats will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer.
- Changing room facilities are available.
How we’re keeping you safe
August 2022 update: Keeping you safe and healthy is our number one priority.
If you test positive for Covid-19 or are asked to isolate and are not able to attend your class or pre-booked event, please contact the Bishopsgate Box Office for further information (enquiries@bishopsgate.org.uk). Please do not come to the Institute in person if you have symptoms or have tested positive.
Bishopsgate Institute has a thorough cleaning schedule in place and we clean the most populated areas more often. You will find hand-sanitising stations throughout the building as well as touch-free drinking fountains.
