ONE NIGHT IN THE ARCHIVE
Established in 2019, One Night began as a (FLINTA only/ Femme Only) play party but has since evolved into a broader event series encompassing socials, panels, and collaborations. At its heart, One Night is about connection and community. We work with incredible events and organisations whose ethics and agendas align with our own, creating spaces that centre the female experience and celebrate pleasure, education, exploration, entertainment, and liberation. More than just a party, One Night is a space to foster friendships, spark conversations, and build meaningful connections. This evening we will be opening our doors to all genders. Cis men, be on your best behaviour! Being in our space is a privilege.
In the Great Hall, a panel discussion hosted by writer, curator and researcher Anastasiia Fedorova will explore the importance of archiving the lives and labour of Sex Workers, honouring histories too often erased or overlooked (panelists to be announced soon). Surrounding the discussion will be screenings of a femme-focused porn film and a short documentary on One Night Parties.
One Night favourites Angel Bella and Cocoa Kink will also take to the stage for your viewing pleasure.
Meanwhile, Miss Gold, founder of One Night Parties, will delve into Bishopsgate’s extensive archives of LGBTQIA+ history, politics, and culture to hand-select a collection of images, documents, and ephemera highlighting the histories of women, lesbians, and sex workers. This curated display will be available until 21:00 in the Front Library - a space to inspire, inform, and ignite conversation.
Completing the evening is a visual retrospective celebrating the last six years of One Night - the moments that have defined the parties and the people who brought them to life.
