
Kpop Dance
Participants will explore a variety of dance genres through popular K-Pop songs and build confidence, coordination, and performance skills in a supportive environment. Students will learn the latest K-Pop choreography, gain a basic understanding of different dance styles, improve their fitness and rhythm, and enjoy expressing themselves through movement in a fun, relaxed setting.
Who is this course for?
Anyone can join! No prior dance experience is required, perfect for beginners and K-Pop fans who want to move, learn, and have fun.
Will I need any equipment or materials?
Comfortable clothing and trainers or dance shoes are recommended. Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
Practical Information:
- Before the course begins, you can choose to purchase either a full course ticket (£57/£44) or a drop-in for the first class (£15). Drop-in tickets for the remainder of the course will only become available after the first class and are subject to availability.
- Participants should be comfortable with light to moderate physical activity. The course is inclusive and accessible to all abilities.
- Changing room facilities are available.

You will learn
By the end of the course, students will be able to perform K-Pop choreography confidently, understand basic techniques from multiple dance genres, and enjoy the experience of dancing to their favourite songs.
Meet the Tutor

Coco YS Do
With wide-ranging experience in both the Korean music and dance industries, Coco (Yeonsoo Do) is a creative artist who works within a global K-Pop culture and community spanning the UK and South Korea. A professional dancer and choreographer, she is trained in ballet, contemporary dance, Korean traditional dance and hip-hop. Formerly a member of KAACHI, the UK’s first K-Pop girl group, and ATTI, she has also performed at events including the London New Year’s Day Parade in 2021 and 2022.
She is currently General Manager of ESEA Music, further expanding her leadership and influence within the industry. Her work includes delivering lectures at the Korean Cultural Centre UK, speaking at the Art Panel during the seventh edition of the UCL Leaders Conference, appearing at HallyuCon 2024, and serving as a judge for the 11th K-Pop Contest in Spain.
Alongside her creative and leadership roles, Coco is the Founder and Director of K-Pop Planet UK, her own K-Pop dance academy. She is also an active dance educator, teaching in schools and community settings, and has delivered classes for leading organisations such as Rambert, the Korean Cultural Centre UK, and the SID programme at the Royal Academy of Dance.
