Take the beginner taster class at the start of the night and then enjoy the sounds of the vintage DJs and a live band.

Dress up or dress down for the evening. There will be lots of moving about and dancing so be sure to wear comfy shoes and get ready to swing.

Now in its new Friday night slot, Swing Live! (formally known as Bishopsgate Swing) has been running at Bishopsgate Institute for ten years.

Practical Information

• Tickets are £15/£9 in advance and £18 on the door.
• If you claim a concessionary rate you make be asked for proof of eligibility (e.g. student card, or proof of age). Find out more about our concessionary rates.
• Online ticket sales will close two hours prior to the event starting. We encourage you to book in advance, as tickets will be available on the door but will be limited.

• Please note that the last entry is 45 minutes before the end of the event.
• Please remember you are not able to bring your own food and drinks to this event. Thank you for your understanding.
• Please put your coats and bags in the free, fully staffed cloakroom to help keep the dance floor clear and safe.
• Our events and courses are designed for over-18s only. We do not allow under-18s to attend our social dance events as our evening events are aimed at an adult audience, with a licensed bar in operation.
