Movement and wellbeing classes

Sometimes, all it takes to re-set and re-engage with the challenges of work or study is a dance or Pilates class. If life is stressful and involves long hours at a desk, a yoga, stretch or breathwork class can make all the difference. Now that more of us are back in the office for more of the week, and given how busy the City of London has become again, we've curated a series of lunchtime and straight-from-work classes designed to help you look after yourself.

Our new tutors are all experienced teachers and they offer a range of disceplines, styles and options to try. Our existing Iyengar yoga offer has been expanded, and is joined by both more energetic and more restorative styles of yoga across the week.

We have dance classes in K-pop, musical theatre jazz and street dance as well as a mat Pilates option.

And we have stress management and breathwork techniques under the banner of Meditation.

We're not a gym, so you won't find pumping loud music (well, except in the dance classes) or other off-putting aspects of commercial studios. Learning and wellbeing is at the heart of our mission as a charity.

We offer these classes in course blocks, as you'll see, but there is usually also a drop-in option on the day if we have space. The classes take place in either the Goss Room or the Studio, and we have changing facilities available nearby (and free drinking water - bring your reusable bottle or cup). The front desk team will give you the code on arrival, and there are lockers.

We don't want anyone to get injured, so during the booking process we ask you to confirm you accept responsibility for your own health and wellbeing, and that you will tell the tutor about any condition, injury or issue that might affect your safe participation (there is no form to complete for this).

Please see the individual course information for anything specific the tutor wants you to know in advance, and what they'll be covering.
