Brew (who famously revitalised the UK Leather Scene over a decade ago with his hard-hitting Fetish night, MASTERY) now creates and fronts this one-of-a-kind, XXtraordinary Fetish Assembly/Festival throughout the entire Institute, where Hardcore Fetish Performances, Installations, Music, Fashion, eye-opening Art & Photographic Exhibitions, hands-on Vintage Fetish Magazines + Posters, Market, Merch, Interviews and Demos/Presentations (‘W.T.F’: ‘We’re Talking Fetish'), will take over the building. 

This curation of FETISH UNLIMITED is an unapologetic exploration, exposé and exposition of Fetish and Hardcore Dynamics - an ‘in-yer-face’ festival, celebration and display of Fetishes and Hardcore Dynamics – a dizzying array of presentations, archives, visuals, fashion, spoken word, music, backdrop and history. 

All interested and enthusiastic genders, tribes and fetish aficionados are warmly invited and welcomed to this safe and stimulating environment. Although predominantly in-yer-face HomoMale in presentation/ visuals/ backdrop and history, EVERYONE will find the Kinks and Fetishes on display and under discussion to be 100% relevant and raunchy to one-and-all!

Wearing Fetish Gear is also 100% encouraged to add to the ambience of the Assembly (but it's not mandatory; civvies are fine)… Leather, Rubber, Gimp, Pup, M/s, Skin, Scally, Drag, Fem etc… whatever floats your boat.

Provisional Programme

Every corner of the Archive and Institute will be buzzing for FETISH UNLIMITED - the Great Hall will open the afternoon with a New Concept Guided Meditation: INTO THE DARKROOM, followed by entertaining and exciting talks by Stefan Dickers (Head Archivist), 'THE PERILS AND PITFALLS OF A PORN COLLECTOR', Matt Lodder (tattoo historian) presents 'A BIT MORE ON HIS ARSE' (the hardcore history of Mr Sebastian and Fetish body piercing in UK), plus Brew Hunter's ‘A.B.C OF FETISH’ and ‘VICE VERSA'. The evening rounds off in the Great Hall with DJ AlexMaxx and ‘FETISH ON THE DANCEFLOOR’, alongside a number of pop-up Fetish Performances and Installations. 

The Library presents HANDS-ON VINTAGE MAGAZINES and POSTERS, as well as Fetish artefacts in the CABINET OF CURIOSITIES. Featured Installations include ‘FALLEN ANGEL’, ‘I HAD FORGOTTEN’, ‘HAVING AN IMPACT’, ‘THE ROD’ and a Shibari ST SEBASTIANE (all world premieres). 

Downstairs, the Courtyard Room features PERVERTS PLATFORM, a series of talks by 4 of London’s well-known Fetish educators: KONTROL, SHOCKER!, PAIN PLAY 101 and WHAT’S UP DOC? The Studio features SUCK IT AND SEE - a plethora of Fetish Gear for you to examine and maybe try on (to see how you like them), and the Goss Room transforms into DIRTY DICK’S FLIXX - a retro Soho Kinema experience, with XX film and video from the Archive. 

The Upper Hall contains the Cloakroom and a Quiet Space for relaxation and reflection. There are 2 licensed bars on the premises: the TAKE IT UP THE BISH BAR, and the BADASS LEATHER BAR, which will also hold an informal reunion for the fabled BACKSTREET CLUB, alongside artwork and visuals of the Club in its heyday. 

Astonishing Fetish art and photography will be throughout the building and corridors, including the premiere showings of Fagg Art’s UP AND CUMMING and Reveal’s OILS IN LEATHER - as well as 2 brand new XX Fetish Zines on show, DARKROOM and UNSAFESPACE. 

Following the longtime valued ethos of Bishopsgate Institute, FETISH UNLIMITED promotes Education and Entertainment - above all - throughout each of these exciting and scintillating presentations, demos and talks. But please be aware that, due to the name and nature of the Event and the Archive, ADULT CONTENT will be to the fore throughout, and guests are advised that this may be both jaw-dropping and eye-opening! (Guests MUST be 18 or over.)
