Margaret Prescod is co-ordinator of Women of Color in the Global Women’s Strike and an award-winning, nationally syndicated journalist on Pacifica Radio. She is founder of the Black Coalition Fighting Back Serial Murders and co-founder of Every Mother is a Working Mother Network. She is the author of Black Women: Bringing It All Back Home (Falling Wall Press, 1980). She is originally from Barbados. She is a mother and lives in Los Angeles.
