These last few months, London has looked a little different, and we got to explore a quieter city. We discovered a new love for our capital, inspiring us to delve into the extensive collections of London photography we hold.

Want to discover more about the London Collections?
Our London Collections contain around 150,000 books and pamphlets on the social and cultural history of London, along with 2,000 maps, and around 500,000 photographs. We also hold a range of London guidebooks and trade directories, as well as the the history of prominent organisations and individuals from London, such as the London History Workshop, and police officer Frederick Wensley.
The Collection includes extensive materials around the Bishopsgate and Spitalfields area, as well as information on our own history.
