
Spanish Level 3: Module C
This course will take place online, for a reduced rate of Full £184 / Conc. £138
The course covers the four skills (speaking, reading, listening and writing). It is taught through tutor-led activities, pair and group work and role-playing. You will also undertake independent research as part of your homework.
Who is this course for?
This course is for students who have completed Spanish Level 3: Module B, or equivalent.
Do I need any previous skills or experience?
To benefit fully from this course, you should have knowledge equivalent to 160 hours of tuition.
Will I need any equipment or materials?
This course will be held via Zoom. You need a computer/laptop or mobile phone to access the Zoom website, and a reliable internet connection. For further information on how to join a Zoom meeting, you can watch the joining video here.
You will need the textbook: Ele Actual B2 by Virgilio Borobio (ISBN 9788413180373), as you will use it throughout the course.
Is there any follow-on course I can take?
Where possible, we will always aim to offer students the opportunity to progress in their learning. The next level after this course is Spanish Level 4: Module A.
Will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for courses at Bishopsgate Institute. However, to monitor your learning and progress, tutors will assess your participation in classroom activities.

- Understand personalities and how to describe people
- Express feelings, including shame, fear and sadness
- Use adjectives with ‘ser’ and ‘estar’ with different meanings
- Understand the imperfect tense and the subjective
- Understand the conditional tense, the subjunctive
- Make complaints with the subjunctive mood
- Understand contrasts between the indicative and subjunctive

Carolina Garcia
Carolina hails from Madrid, and has been teaching Spanish for over 15 years to students from around the world. She holds a degree in English Studies, and a PGCE (CAP Certificate). Carolina’s classes are dynamic and entertaining, and her love of the language is infectious. Her aim as a teacher is to empower the individual to communicate with confidence.
