
Italian Level 1: Module C
This course will take place online, for a reduced rate of Full £184 / Conc. £138
The course covers the four skills (speaking, reading, listening and writing). It is taught through tutor-led activities, pair and group work, role-playing, and independent research as part of homework.
Who is this course for?
For beginner level students who have completed Italian Level 1: Module B, or equivalent.
Do I need any previous skills or knowledge?
To benefit fully from this course, you should have knowledge roughly equivalent to 20 hours of tuition.
Will I need any equipment or materials?
This course will be held via Zoom. You need a computer/laptop or mobile phone to access the Zoom website, and a reliable internet connection. For further information on how to join a Zoom meeting, you can watch the joining video here.

Are there follow-on courses I can take?
Where possible, we will always aim to offer students the opportunity to progress in their learning. The next level after this course is Italian Level 2: Module A.
Will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for courses at Bishopsgate Institute. However, to monitor your learning and progress, tutors will assess your participation in classroom activities.

Meet the Tutor
Federica Tedeschi
Federica Tedeschi gained both a Celta and an NCFE Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement from Westminster Kingsway College. Since 2002, she has been teaching Italian at several institutions in London, as well as tutoring GCSE and A-level students. In 2015-17 she taught Italian language and culture at the University of Greenwich. Federica holds a BA in International Communication and Linguistics and an MA in International Relations from the University of Perugia. Further work includes teaching at several schools, and writing for publications in the UK and overseas; Federica is also a senior reporter for English Language Gazette and a member of an NUJ committee.
