Speakers include Susan Andrews, Emeritus Reader in Photography; Dr Tom Hunter and Dr. Ekua McMorris; introduced by Stef Dickers Special Collections and Archives Manager 

Themes explored will be: ELPA’s relationship with Bishopsgate Institute’s collections; the founding of the East End Archive and ELPA; recent ELPA initiatives; and widening the scope of the collection to better reflect a contemporary demographic of practitioners. 

The talks and viewing of archival materials, including the work of Don McCullin, Brian Griffin and Jo Spence, together with other material from fundraisers for the London Lighthouse. 

All attendees will be receive a free book, Archive: Imagining the East End, which explores the East End Archive’s collection and purpose. A selection of other related publications will also be freely available. 

A pay bar for refreshments will be provided in the Library.
