British-Ukranian violinist Roman Lytwyniw is a versatile chamber musician, orchestral player and soloist. He has performed a wide range of repertoire at most major concert halls in the UK including the Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall and Royal Albert Hall as well as a recent Mandolin debut at the Mariinsky Concert Hall in St. Petersburg. Roman recently lead a tour of the UK and abroad with guitarist Miloš Karadaglič and Ensemble7. Together they performed for BBC, Classic FM, Warwick Arts Centre, Dubai Opera House and Aix-en-Provence. He also recently gave the UK premiere of Steven Gerber’s Three Songs Without Words for the London Sinfonietta Wednesday Premiere Series. As an ambassador for Future Talent, Roman has also lead a string quintet performing at Buckingham Palace. Born in Manchester, Roman attended Chetham’s School of Music and has just graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in London having studied with So-Ock Kim and Joshua Fisher.
