Archive Open Day: Women’s and Feminist History
Bishopsgate Institute is home to an extensive collection which documents women’s and feminist history both within the UK and internationally. We are committed to increasing holdings relating to women’s and feminist history.

At this event, we invite you to drop in to explore our collection of pamphlets, posters, ephemera and artefacts from these collections at you own pace. During the event you can catch a glimpse of a Suffragette badge and sash, learn more about female trailblazers, and even hold a placard carried during the 2017 Women’s March on London.

We would love to provide a home to your story/archive and would be delighted to accept any material to add to the women’s and feminist history archives on the day. This could be ephemera, magazines, books, photos, video, audio, artefacts, documents…anything that you feel could help tell the story of women’s and feminist history for future generations. Material can also be scanned/copied on the day, so you can keep the original if preferred.

Saturday 16 March 13.00 - 16.00
