Signs of the Time
If you were one of the estimated 100,000 protestors braving the cold, carrying a sign or taking photos at the London Women’s March on 21st January we would love to hear from you.
Part of our Special Collections and Archives' ongoing work is to document protest, activism and campaigning in the UK. We have material dating back to the late 18th century. Bishopsgate Institute are therefore seeking material from the Women's March. We want to provide a home for your placards, banners, t-shirts/outfits, leaflets and photographs (digital or hard copy).
Donations can be made in a variety of ways: you can drop physical items into the Institute or pop them in the post (see below for details). If your material is digital, please let us advise you on the best way to transfer the items by emailing us firstname.lastname@example.org .
Since our initial call-out for placards on 21st January, we have been received many donations to the collection and mentions on ITV News and in The Independent.
