Open Rehearsal: London Philharmonic Choir

London Philharmonic Choir
Take advantage of this unique behind the scenes opportunity to listen to one of the nation’s finest choirs in rehearsal.

The London Philharmonic Choir works with leading orchestras and conductors in London and around the world. In April it performed Brahms's Ein deutsches Requiem with Yannick Nézet-Séguin at the Royal Festival Hall. The choir often travels overseas, in recent years visiting Europe several times, as well as Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Perth, Australia. It boasts an extensive collection of recordings including Kurt Masur’s critically acclaimed War Requiem performed on the 60th anniversary of VE Day.

Tonight the choir is rehearsing for a performance of Haydn's Seven Last Words, to be conducted by Vladimir Jurowski at the Royal Festival Hall on Saturday 28 November 2009.
