In this talk Phyll Opoku-Gyimah, co-founder and Executive Director of UK Black Pride, explores campaigning and its place within the UK’s parliamentary democracy, what it means to protest outside the seat of government, and how activism has effected change. 
 
Phyll Opoku-Gyimah is an LGBT+ activist, and, alongside her work with UK Black Pride, is Head of Campaigns for the largest civil service trade union, PCS. Follow @MsLadyPhyll
