Come and explore some of the fascinating new acquisitions to Bishopsgate Institute’s Special Collections and Archives during the past year in this pop up display.

Find out about the many campaigns fought by disability rights activist Keith Armstrong, browse Women’s Co-operative Guild banners from the 1920s and placards from 2017’s Women’s March on London, and view new additions documenting LGBTQ nightclub life from 1980s to today.

Meet the team of Archivists and Librarians who catalogue and care for these precious items that record London, campaigning and protest, labour and socialist, LGBTQ and women’s histories, and enjoy a drink at the bar.
