From Huguenot silk weavers to Jewish tailors to Bangladeshi sari suppliers to hipster street style, the East End has played an important part in London's clothing industry for more than 300 years. This one-day course is an opportunity to discover the social history of fashion and shopping in the East End and beyond through expert talks and practical exercises using original materials from our archives and special collections.
