Join us for a whistle-stop tour of the changing lives of women in the twentieth century, from the battle for equal voting rights to the women’s liberation movement.

The subject is examined through a wide range of library and archive sources, such as press cuttings on fashion and beauty from the 1930s, articles on shopping from the 1950s and feminist ephemera from the 1980s.
