How well do you know London’s East End? Whether you’re new to the East End and its history or whether you’re already familiar with the subject, this immersive archives course will inform and surprise you. You’ll be ‘introduced’ to pacifists, philanthropists, refugees, anarchists, librarians and other local groups and characters through historical materials from our collections, including Victorian maps, Edwardian pamphlets, interwar press cuttings and post-war photographs.
