The subject is examined through a wide range of library and archive sources, such as press cuttings on fashion and beauty from the 1930s, articles on shopping from the 1950s and feminist ephemera from the 1980s. There will also be a chance to view original Suffragette campaigning materials, including a one-hundred-year-old china tea service! No prior knowledge of the subject is required.
