Cultural Events programme: January - July 2012
This season we present a series of events exploring the theme of Monarchy & Republicanism. We consider the history of republicanism and the role of the monarchy today. Should we have a monarchy or a republic?
In 1908 and 1948 London hosted the Olympics and will do so again this summer. Join us for Capital Games, a series of discussions exploring the social, political and economic implications of the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games.
No city has inspired and moulded more great literature than London. This season we present a series of talks and walks to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Dickens - a literary genius and one of Britain's most famous authors.
Our free lunchtime concerts, in partnership with City Music Society, take place each Tuesday from 17 January to 3 April 2012.
