Terms and Conditions

All members of the audience must be in possession of a valid ticket. Please keep hold of your ticket until the end of the performance as you may need it for readmission. For some events (namely dance and music) a ticket will be exchanged for a wristband which will need to be worn for the duration of the event.

Ticket-holders should be prepared to produce proof of eligibility for concessionary rate tickets if requested to do so.

All of our events are general admission, with no allocated seating.

To limit disturbance to fellow audience members and speakers / performers, latecomers will be asked to wait until a suitable break in the performance. Occasionally late admittance may not be possible and therefore cannot be guaranteed.

The use of audio and visual recording devices, including mobile phones, cameras and tape-recorders, is not permitted during a Bishopsgate Institute performance or event.

Ticket holders consent to the filming, photographing and sound recording of themselves as members of the audience.

Bishopsgate Institute reserves the right to refuse admission to any person or request a ticket holder to leave the venue and take any appropriate action to enforce this right if it believes that their presence is likely to cause a nuisance, disturbance or threat to other visitors, the venue and its employees.

We reserve the right to make changes to the advertised programme due to unavoidable causes without being obliged to offer a refund or exchange.

Bishopsgate Institute reserves the right to cancel or abandon the event for reason beyond its control without notice or without being liable to pay any person compensation for damages other than a refund to the value of the ticket.

All tickets are non-refundable however tickets can be exchanged up to 5 working days before the event date. In some instances, once all house tickets have been sold and at the discretion of Bishopsgate Institute management, if we successfully re-sell your tickets then a refund will be given. In all cases, the original tickets must be returned to the venue within the above time-frame.

The re-sale of this ticket is not permitted where it is being sold for profit or commercial gain. Tickets cannot be re-sold on the venue premises or the immediate vicinity at the time.
