Would you like to know more about Bishopsgate Library's history and its collections? What was the 'Battle of the Books' and why did the Institute lock away one archive item fearing it may cause a revolution?
We are happy to arrange tours of Bishopsgate Library and Institute for interested groups of adults. Our tours are led by experienced members of staff and last around 90 minutes.
If you are particularly interested in the architecture of the Institute, our family history collections, or any other aspect of the Library we can tailor the tour to your requirements.
Minimum tour numbers: 8 adults.
Maximum tour numbers: 20 adults.
Suggested donation: £3 per person.
If you are interested in booking a tour please download and complete the form below, or contact Edward Weech on 020 7392 9270 or by email.
There are also regular tours for individuals as part of the Events programme.
